2 c. sugar 5 eggs, separated 3/4 c. milk 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 lb. butter 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. ground walnuts Beat butter and sugar well. Then add egg yolks, 1 at a time and mix well. Add flour, baking powder and milk. Sprinkle tablespoon flour over beaten egg whites. Blend in lightly. Pour into 10"x13" pan. Sprinkle nut and sugar mixture over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool, then cut with small glass to resemble quarter moon. |
