CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
1/2 c. soft butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
Marmalade or jam

Cream butter, cheese and vanilla until well blended. Gradually add flour. Turn dough onto floured surface and shape into a 12 inch long roll. (Dough will be soft.) Wrap in waxed paper and chill several hours or overnight. Cut into 1/4 inch slices, top each with 1/4 teaspoon of jam. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 4 dozen.
