LIZ'S MARASCHINO CHERRY CAKE 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 c. cherry juice
16 chopped-up cherries
1/2 c. milk
3 stiffly beaten egg whites
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix first 8 ingredients well. Then add stiffly beaten egg whites and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
