YAM YUM 
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. sliced, peeled apples
29 oz. can drained yams
3 tbsp. butter
2 c. mini marshmallows

Stir together sugar, nuts, and cinnamon. Toss apple with mixture. In buttered 2 quart casserole, place 1/2 yams (cut in slices), 1/2 apple mix, 1/3 of marshmallows other 1/2 of hams, other 1/2 of apple mixture. Dot with butter. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining marshmallows. Return to oven and bake 10 minutes or until light brown.
