CREAMY VEGETABLE SALAD 
2 env. unflavored gelatin
1 c. cold water
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 c. finely chopped cucumbers
1 c. shredded carrots
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. dill weed
Lettuce

Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup water; stir over low heat until dissolved. Add remaining water. Cool. Gradually add gelatin to combined mayonnaise; sour cream and vinegar, mixing until blended. Chill until thickened but not set; fold in all remaining ingredients except lettuce. Pour into 9 inch square pan lightly brushed with mayonnaise; chill until firm. Cut into squares. Serve on lettuce, covered salad plates. (9 servings)

Variation: substitute 5 cup mold for 9 inch square pan. Unmold onto lettuce covered platter.
