MRS. G'S SPANISH RICE (A
Quickie)
 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. chopped onion
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1 can tomatoes
1 can Hunt's tomato sauce
1 c. uncooked rice
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine ground beef, onion and pepper. Cook until ground beef is browned. Drain and add remaining ingredients and mix well. Stir often to mix well. Simmer about 25 minutes or until rice absorbs liquid. You can also use 4 cups pre-cooked rice and decrease cooking time to 10-12 minutes.
