PINEAPPLE CREAM CAKE 
Yellow cake mix
1 can crushed pineapple (heavy syrup)
1 reg. size box vanilla pudding
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
Coconut

Bake any kind of yellow cake mix following box instructions. While cake is baking in a saucepan add 1 cup pineapple to 1 cup of sugar cook on low heat until cake is done.

When cake is done using the end of a wooden spoon punch holes in the cake. Pour pineapple and sugar mixture over the cake and smooth out -let cake cool.

Take the instant vanilla pudding that has been chilled and spread over cake - add the 8 ounces of Cool Whip and spread over cake. Sprinkle with coconut.
