FRUIT CAKE (EA) 
3/4 lb. flour
1/2 lb. sugar
6 oz. butter
1 pkg. currants
1 pkg. seedless raisins
1/4 lb. each lemon peel, orange
1 nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 gill whiskey

Makes 2 loaves. Bake in a slow oven about 1 hour or until baked through. (Keeps 1 year.)
