SPARE RIBS 
4 lb. spare ribs
2 tbsp. butter or oil
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 c. water
1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Brown onions in oil. Mix all sauce ingredients, heat for 20 minutes then pour over spare ribs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, covered. Remove cover for last 20 minutes. Put under broiler for 5 minutes (instead of heating the ingredients you can marinade overnight).
