CHICKEN LIVERS & BACON 
Cook chicken livers in boiling salted water for 20 minutes or until tender. Drain. Drop each cooked chicken liver in 1/2 slice of bacon cut crosswise. Fasten bacon in place with wooden toothpicks. Broil until brown, turning occasionally. Serve hot with toothpicks still in place. Originally meant for use as appetizers, these can be a main course, served with potato and hot bread.
