CHICKEN LIVERS IN BACON 
Chicken livers
Bacon
Toothpicks

Or water chestnuts, mushrooms, olives, pickled onions or oysters.

Cook livers (or others listed above). Wrap in half slices of bacon. Fasten with toothpicks. Grill in broiler or bake at 400 degrees until bacon is crisp. Replace burnt toothpicks with fresh ones or with croquette stabs.
