FRENCH BREAKFAST PUFFS | |
3 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg 1 c. sugar 2/3 c. butter 2 eggs 1 c. milk 1 c. sugar 2 tsp. ground cinnamon 3/4 c. butter, melted In mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg; set aside. In mixer bowl cream together the first cup of sugar, butter and eggs. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with milk; beating well after each addition. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Combine the remaining 1 cup sugar and the cinnamon. Remove muffins from oven; immediately dip in melted butter then in the sugar-cinnamon mixture until coated. Serve warm. Makes 24 muffins. |
