SWEET POTATO PIE 
3 c. yams
1 stick butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Cook yams and mash with 1 stick of butter. Then add eggs, canned milk and vanilla. Put into casserole dish.

For Topping: Melt butter, sugar and nuts, pour on top of yams. Bake in oven for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
