CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW CAKE 
8 egg whites
1 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add milk and flour alternately. Add egg whites last (beaten stiffly). This makes 4 layers.

MARSHMALLOW FILLING:

2 c. sugar
15 marshmallows (large)
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites

Cook sugar and water until syrup hardens in cold water. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add hot syrup to the egg whites, beating while adding the syrup. Add marshmallows and beat until creamy. Spread each layer with this filling.

CHOCOLATE FILLING:

2 c. sugar
1 c. cream
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. butter

Cook this together. Stack marshmallow-spread layers. Cover these layers completely with the chocolate filling.
