CHOCOLATE CARAMEL BARS 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. softened butter
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix above 4 ingredients. Using floured hands, press 1/2 mixture onto bottom of greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees.

14 oz. pkg. light caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
6 oz. (1 c.) chocolate chips

Melt caramels and milk over low heat or in microwave, stirring often. Spread over bake crust. Sprinkle with chips. With floured fingers, lop remaining cake mixture on top. Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool, then refrigerate 30 minutes to set caramel. Cut into bars.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
