PICKLED BEETS 
1/4 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. sliced cooked beets

Heat to boiling; add 2 cups sliced, cooked beets. Cover and simmer 5 minutes; chill. These can be placed in small containers and frozen for future use.
