SOUR CREAM APPLE SQUARES | |
2 c. flour 1 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. butter 1 c. chopped English walnuts 1 1/2 c. sour cream 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 3 1/2 c. chopped apples Combine flour, sugars, and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts. Reserve two cups for topping. Press remaining mixture in the bottom of 13x9 pan. Combine sour cream, egg and vanilla and spread over crust. Top with apples, top with reserved crumb mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. |
