3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
3 c. chopped apples
1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate mini chips
1 ripe banana, mashed (optional)
1 c. walnuts (optional)

Beat eggs until foamy. Add softened butter, sugar, cocoa, salt, soda and spices. Beat until smooth. Add the vanilla and both flours (and mashed banana, if including). Beat only until mixed. Stir in the chopped apples and chocolate chips (and walnuts if including).

Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 60-70 minutes.
