3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice (optional)
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 c. green baking apples, grated (approximately 3 apples)
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream eggs, sugar, butter, and water until fluffy. Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon, and allspice. Add to egg mixture and mix well. Add nuts, chocolate chips, apples, and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes.
