MARVELOUS MARIN MACAROONS 
2 2/3 c. Baker's angel flake coconut
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
4 egg whites
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. chopped almonds

Combine coconut, sugar, flour and salt in mixing bowl. Stir in egg whites, unbeaten and almond extract. Stir in almonds and mix well. Drop from a teaspoon onto lightly greased baking sheet. Put 1/2 candied cherry on top and bake about 20 minutes in a 325 degree oven. Edges should be slightly brown. Should make about 2 1/2 dozen.
