BEER BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. yellow-eye beans
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. Molasses
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 tsp. dry mustard (optional)
1 lg. onion, diced
1 (16 oz.) can of beer
Salt pork (small piece)

Cover beans with water and soak overnight, covered. Drain beans and put into crock pot. Add all ingredients and mix well. Add more beer if needed to cover beans. Cook 6 hours on high or 9-10 hours on low in crock pot or in low oven (275 degrees) for most of the day.
