CHEESE RICE PIE (SAJTOS RIZA
TORTA)
 
3 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
3-4 tbsp. water

FILLING:

10 beaten eggs
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 lb. ricotta cheese
1 c. instant rice
4 c. milk

Mix first 5 ingredients together as a pie crust and line two 9 inch square pans or 1 extra large cake pan. Heat milk; add rice and cool. Will be soupy. Add to beaten eggs, sugar and cheese. Fill pans and bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes then at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until set.
