CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. Nestle Toll House chocolate morsels (I always use more it makes them taste better)
1 c. chopped nuts (optional, I never use them)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate morsels (and nuts). Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls (bigger if you want bigger cookies) onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes until edges are brown.

Have fun, your kids will love them. Joey's friends come from all around when I make these cookies.
