FRENCH ONION SOUP 
2 lg. onions, chopped
3 or 4 cans beef broth
Garlic
Salt
Paprika
Pepper
Co oking sherry (optional)

Saute onions in butter, mix in beef broth and add garlic, salt, paprika and pepper to taste. Cook until very hot, add a dash of cooking sherry if desired. Toast bread and top bread with Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese, place in bowl and ladle soup over bread and cheese.
