ENGLISH CREAM 
1 c. whipped cream
2 eggs (whites beaten stiff) froth with 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar that has
been sifted
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, drained
1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans, black walnuts)

Prepare the cherries and pineapple in sieve in refrigerator. Be sure fruit is drained extremely well (no juice remaining). The nuts may be added to this. Just before dinner is served, whip the cream or use Cool Whip; whip egg whites and sugar together. Add vanilla and salt. Fold the fruits into the cream. Serve in sherbet glasses garnished with cherry. Serve with Lady Fingers or macaroons. Delicious dessert following a dinner.
