FRIED APPLES 
3 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
3-5 apples, pared, cored, and thinly sliced

Melt butter in skillet. Stir in sugar and spices. Add apples. Cook 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Good side dish for omelettes, waffles, pancakes or ham.
