MICROWAVE PECAN BRITTLE 
1 c. pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda

Line a 15"x10"x1" pan with aluminum foil. Butter foil and set aside.

Combine first four ingredients in a 2 quart glass bowl. Microwave at High 4 minutes; stir and microwave at High 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in butter and vanilla and microwave at High 1 minute. Stir in soda. Immediately pour mixture onto buttered foil, spreading thinly. Let cool. Break into pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
