GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. cake flour
1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 egg
1/2 stick melted butter
3 tbsp. cocoa mixed with 1 tsp. melted butter
1 c. evaporated milk
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar, cornstarch well. Add eggs, melted butter and chocolate until smooth. Gradually add milk, salt, and vanilla.

Sprinkle flaked coconut in bottom of pie shell and pecans (optional). Pour chocolate mixture over this. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until set.
