3 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. chocolate chips
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 to 1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, cornstarch, sugar, cocoa and salt; add milk and egg yolks and beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Cook in top of double boiler until thickened. Set aside and add butter and vanilla.
