HAWAIIAN BANANA NUT BREAD 
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
3 beaten eggs
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained

Mix together flour, soda, cinnamon, sugar, cloves, salt and nuts and set aside.

Mix together eggs, bananas, vanilla, vegetable oil and pineapple. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients (do not use mixer) just until moistened. Spoon batter into two greased and floured loaf pans (9 x 5 x 3).

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on rack.

Makes 2 loaves.
