LACY OATMEAL CRISP COOKIES 
2 c. soft butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. toasted wheat germ
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
3 c. rolled oats
2 c. finely chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat butter, brown sugar and sugar until smooth. Add eggs. Beat thoroughly.

Mix flour, wheat germ, soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Blend well. Stir in oats, walnuts and vanilla. Cover and chill dough for at least 2 hours.
