Oatmeal Crisp Cookies

This recipe was a complete disaster. I was looking for a thin cookie, but this was so thin, you couldn't get it off the pan. I tried 3 pans of cookies, each a different way, to see if it was a "user error", but it wasn't. This was a complete waste of ingredients.

These are sposed to be lace-like in texture. Sometimes they wrap them around dowels in restaurants to make a fancy stick and dip half of it in melted chocolate. Other times these are made into a larger cylinder shapes and then filled with chantilly creme or whipped cream. these can also be draped over upside down muffin cups to shape into a cup as they dry and u can fill 'em with ice cream. they're not like oatmeal cookies thick and chewy. the recipe says they will spread out flat so u knew what u were getting into!

If you use parchment paper they come right off and they are an excellent cookie.

I love these cookies. They are so good. I have made them several times and each time they have been a big hit.
