QUICHE LORRAINE 
1 tbsp. butter
12 slices bacon, crisp fried and crumbled
1/4 lb. Swiss cheese (1 c. shredded)
4 eggs
2 c. whipping cream
3/4 tsp. salt
Dash of nutmeg
1 (9-inch) pie crust, cooled

Spread crust with butter. Sprinkle cheese and bacon on crust. Beat eggs and remaining. Pour over cheese and bacon. Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees. Turn down to 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Serves 6.
