QUICHE LORRAINE 
1 tbsp. butter
12 slices bacon
1 (9") frozen pie crust
1/4 lb. (1 c.) Swiss cheese, shredded
2 c. heavy cream
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of nutmeg

Microwave or fry bacon, crumble into small pieces. Spread softened butter on interior of pie shell. Place crumbled bacon and shredded cheese inside pie shell. Beat in separate bowl 4 eggs, cream, salt and nutmeg. Pour mixture over cheese and bacon.

Place in preheated 425 degree oven for 15 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 325 degrees and bake 40 minutes. To test for "doneness" insert knife into center of quiche. If it comes out clean - pie is ready.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
