PICANTE SAUCE 
10 hot green peppers or 3 (4 oz.) cans chopped chilies (hot or mild)
10 c. chopped tomatoes
3 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped green peppers
1/4 c. lemon juice
6 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste

Discard seeds from hot peppers and green peppers. Take skins off tomatoes. Combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Simmer for one hour. Put in clean jars and seal or cool to use right away.
