APRICOT GRANOLA TREAT 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c quick oats
1 tbsp. wheat germ
1/2 c. nuts
2 c. water

Cream butter and brown sugar; add dry ingredients. Add water; mix until crumbly. Firmly pat half of mixture into a greased 9 x 9 or 10 x 7 inch baking dish. Spread with filling and top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

FILLING:

2 c. apricots, dried and chopped
2 c. water

Place apricots and water in saucepan. Cover and cook, stirring often until consistency of jam. Add water if needed.
