STRAWBERRY SOUR CREAM BREAD | |
1 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. lemon extract 4 eggs 3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. strawberry jam 1/2 c. sour cream 1 c. chopped nuts Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, lemon extract, add eggs, one at a time. Sift dry ingredients, blend jam and cream, then add alternately with dry ingredients, add nuts. Makes 2 regular loaves or 5 mini loaves. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. Apricot, boysenberry jam can be used. |
