PEPPER STEAK STIR FRY | |
1/4 c. vegetable oil 2 lb. round or sirloin steak cut into strips 2 bunches scallions, cut into 1-inch pieces 3 red or green peppers, cut into strips 1 1/2 c. Pace MILD picante sauce 1 c. water 1/3 c. soy sauce 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. ground ginger 1/2 tsp. garlic powder In a wok or skillet saute steak and scallions in vegetable oil until meat is well browned and scallions are tender. Add peppers; stir fry for 3 to 4 minutes until vegetables are tender. Combine remaining ingredients together in a bowl and add to beef and vegetable mixture. Stir and cook until sauce thickens about, 2 or 3 more minutes. Serve over rice or noodles. |
