BEER CHILI 
1 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. onion (chopped)
1 (No. 303) can tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 can beer
1 (No. 303) can kidney beans

Melt butter in heavy fry pan or Dutch oven. Add meat and onion. Cook until lightly browned, stirring frequently. Add remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Stir and cover. Simmer one hour, stirring occasionally. Add kidney beans. Simmer 20 minutes. Stir frequently. Serves 6.
