1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. softened butter
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
4 1/4 c. sifted flour

Cream sugar, butter, eggs, oil, and vanilla. Add the rest of the ingredients. Chill 6-8 hours. Shape into 1-inch balls. Dip into sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
