1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 egg
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla

GLAZE:

3/4 c. powdered sugar
3 to 4 tsp. milk
Food coloring

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg, and then add flour and vanilla. Put mixture in freezer while preheating oven (350 degrees). Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cut into desired shapes. Cool and glaze cookies.
