VEE'S CUT SUGAR COOKIES 
3 c. confectioners' sugar
4 sticks butter (room temperature)
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavoring
5 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream sugar, butter; add eggs and flavoring and mix well. Add soda and cream of tartar. Mix well. Add flour a cup at a time mixing it well each time.

Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours. Yields 10 to 12 dozen cut cookies.
