CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. shortening
1 box Betty Crocker yellow or devil food cake mix
1 (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat eggs, vanilla, shortening and half of the cake mix. Mix until fluffy. Stir remaining mix and chips. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
