PAULA'S POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Thoroughly blend butter, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add flour, sifted with baking powder. Grease and flour 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes; sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Can be wrapped and refrigerated.
