PAULA'S POUND CAKE 
5 lg. eggs
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. butter Crisco
2 c. sugar

Cream together the first 4 ingredients. Then add the dry mixture in small amounts until smooth:

4 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Along with 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. water

Add:

2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees in a greased and floured tube pan. Remove immediately and allow to cool.

This is great for freezing or making a few days ahead.
