APPLE PIE MIX 
1/2 c. fresh orange juice
3 c. peeled apples (sm. cooking apples, approx. 6 slices per apple)
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. plain flour
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
1/4 c. butter

Combine juice, apples, 1/2 cup sugar and butter in pan. Cook until apples are clear, approximately 5 minutes. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and spice. Stir into hot apple mixture. Cook until thickened. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Top with unbaked crust. Bake at 350 degrees until brown, 50 minutes to 1 hour.

This mix may be frozen in bags or boxes. Just right for one pie. Thaw in refrigerator. Heat until warm, then put into pie shell.
