OVERNIGHT STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE | |
3/4 c. butter, softened 1 c. sugar 1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. raisins 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and sour cream. Stir flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nutmeg together. Add to creamed mixture and beat until smooth. Add raisins. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over top. Cover and chill 6-8 hours or overnight. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly before cutting. |
