2 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
5 c. flour

Cream sugar and shortening. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Add cream. Sift flour. Add soda, salt and nutmeg to flour, then add to other ingredients, blending well. Roll thin and cut with cookie cutter. Sprinkle tops with sugar. Bake in moderate oven.
