1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. lard or Spry
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. flavoring

Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Press with sugared fork. Oven temperature - 375 degrees.
