POP CORN BALLS 
1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)
1 c. white or brown sugar
4 tbsp. butter

Let this come to a rolling boil. Add:

Let cook to a soft ball stage. Then cook to a soft ball stage. Then add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour over 5 quarts popped corn and shape into balls.

When using white sugar, food coloring can be added to make pretty balls; especially red and green for Christmas.
